Introduction
Ibtikar 2010 is one of the largest and most important exhibition that specialized in invention and innovation in the Middle East, It is a platform for the dissemination of culture of invention and innovation to the society and creating links between inventors and investors in order to shift the Saudi society into knowledge society.
What achieved in Ibtikar 2008 and the number of visitor which exceeded 59,000 is the greatest statement of the importance of the message carried by the exhibition. In addition the big mobility of culture in the Saudi institutions and companies to implement the exhibition philosophy in their work environments.
Exhibition Objectives
1. Showcasing the national capabilities of innovation and invention.
2. Aware the society about the national innovative system and the role of the relevant institutions.
3. Disseminate of culture of invention and innovation and highlight its role in sustainable development.
4. Encourage the participation of the private sector to support innovation in the Kingdom.
The exhibition will present the following
• Original innovations: supply side innovations… those original innovations offered by individuals, or private or public entities, for the purpose of introducing the innovation to the general public in general and investors in particular.
• Offered opportunities: Demand side opportunities… offered to the public and for inventors and innovators from local, regional or international companies or agencies.
• Showcase of special services offered from local or international organizations to facilitate for inventors and innovators their activities, from related service providers.

Conditions of Participations 1. Anyone with an invention holds or applied for a patent.
2. Participant may register more than one invention and one them will be selected for the participation.
3. The participant must register directly, and if he is not the owner of the patent he must provide certified letter from the owner that allows him to participate.
4. Participant may display his invention throw manufactured model, prototype, plans or photos.
5. The participation must be practical and economically feasible.
6. The priority is to participation that have not previously displayed in the exhibition.
7. Full information about the participation must be provided, and participation that does not provide enough information will be exclude.
8. Sending any photos of the participation is preferred.
