Secretary General of Mawhiba Receives Chairman and Director of Saudi Airlines

His Excellency Secretary General of King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba)  Dr. Saud Bin Saeed Al-Mathami received Tuesday 29 Sha'aban 1439H corresponding to 15 May 2018 His Excellency Dr. Ghassan bin Abdulrahman Al-Shabal Chairman of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) accompanied by Eng. Salih Bin Nasir Al-Jasir Director General of Saudia at Mawhiba headquarters in Riyadh.

Dr. Al-Muthami welcomed Chairman and Director of Saudia, pointing that King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity is one of the nonprofit cultural organizations collaborating with its partners in the public and private sectors to support the Kingdom orientation towards knowledge society and economy through a pool of programs and initiatives targeting the identification and nurturing of the gifted.

Dr. Gassan and Eng. Al-Jasir reviewed the phases of development of Mawhiba and its strategic plan supporting talent, creativity and innovation whereby Mawhiba aims to make qualitative expansion of its programs and improve its services through a series of strategic objectives including identification of the gifted in the Kingdom, developing and expanding the range of programs and services provided for the gifted, working in alignment with the ambitious plans of Saudi Vision 2030, raising community awareness of talent, creativity and innovation, as well as enhancing the Foundation's position as a reference in nurturing talent.

Dr. Al-Muthami appreciated the attention given to Mawhiba by Saudia ensuring the importance of partnership and collaboration between Mawhiba and Saudia.


The attendants watched a visual presentation about the vision, mission and objectives of Mawhiba and its major activities in the identification and nurturing of the gifted and excellent students at the general education schools, and its efforts in building and developing the talent environment and community with comprehensive conceptualization at the Kingdom level, as well as the programs and initiatives it provides. Followed by a number of gifted students showcasing their achievements and fields of specialization and the support they had from Mahwhiba during their educational life.

The attendants were enlightened with Mawhiba's local, regional and international achievements as well as the intellectual products of King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity including enrichment curricula, guidance and scientific publications. 

On his part, Dr. Al-Shabal praised the programs and projects of Mawhiba, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between Saudi Arabian Airlines and King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity in identifying and supporting the gifted and innovators as pillars of country prosperity.
