​ Mawhiba Trains 567 Male and Female Gifted Students to Enhance their Leadership Skills

As part of a program held in 4 cities over 6 weeks

Yesterday, King Abdulaziz & his Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity concluded the training of 567 male and female talented students in 4 cities over a period of 6 weeks. The training included a program for personal skills, which aims at enhancing their leading personalities and raising their self-confidence. Thus, they will be qualified to contribute to building the society. The training is provided under the patronage of Dr. Saud Al-Mathami, Secretary General of Mawhiba.​


During his presentation, he affirmed the importance of communication with Mawhiba through the membership of Mawhiba. This membership aims at enabling the student to fulfil the objective of such affiliation and to be close to all events and programs initiated by Mawhiba to have the ultimate benefit. He added that “Mawhiba cares for their gifted students as if they were their own families”.


 

He stated “Last year, we discovered 18 thousand male and female talented students through the National Program for Gifted Identification. Moreover, a special program is designed for each student to achieve success according to their potentials and abilities in what we call “the Journey of the Gifted”

 
It is worth mentioning that the nomination standards of this program are defined; the student should be among the highest 5% of the students included in the National Program for Gifted Identification. Also, they should be in the 10th or 11th grade from the following cities (Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca, Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran).
