Competition Instructions

  1. ​​The student is entitled to register in only one of the available specialties, depending on his class.
  2. The competition is conducted in two stages (phase 1: electronic test - phase 2: E-test)
  3. The test time for the first phase (electronic test) is limited to only one and a half hours, while the test time of the second stage (electronic test) is one and a half to two hours depending on the specialty.
  4. Contest questions adopt a multi-choice system.
  5. The only reference to the subjects of the competition is the mathematics and science syllabus from the Ministry of Education.
  6. After the second phase, candidates are enrolled in specialized training programs to qualify them and prepare them for international competitions.
  7. If the student does not commit to attend the training course after the second stage, this will be considered a withdrawal.


 

Phase I - E-Test

First: Entry requirements for the test

  1. ​Provides a computer or smart device.
  2. Connect the device to a high-speed Internet.
  3. Up-dated Chrome browsers, it preferably NOT to use Internet Explorer.


 

Second: Test mechanism

  1. The test is electronic, provided by the student from home or school, and independently by the student himself.
  2. The exam is held in the morning during the weekdays, and the test is standardized throughout the Kingdom.
  3. Test method: multiple choice, available in both languages (Arabic and English).
  4. Test mechanism: The correct answer is determined, and the calculator is prohibited from using mathematics.
  5. A student can prepare by reviewing the curriculum.


 

Third: Important Notes

  1. Log-in to the test site and make sure to connect to the internet a quarter of an hour before the test date.
  2. Verify the test login data (username: the email with which the student is registered on Mawhiba website and the password).
  3. Avoid closing the browser during the test.
  4. Pay attention to the remaining time for the test.
  5. The test is administered once and only for each student, and the test cannot be repeated.
  6. Avoid pressing the Submit button unless you are sure that all questions have been answered and the test has been completed.
  7. The final score appears to the student immediately after the end of the test.
  8. Starting to contact the students nominated for the second phase of Mawhoob (Written Exam) competition.
