The National Program for Gifted Identification - FAQ
​What is the National Program?
The National Program for Gifted Identification is an annual program, implemented by partners (Mawhiba, the Ministry of Education, the Education and Training Evaluation Authority represented by the National Center for Measurement), which aims primarily to identify talented Students within specific groups - and provide them with appropriate services and programs.

 

What are the target classes of the National Program? 

All grades starting from the third primary grade until the first secondary school, provided that the scale is not applied more than once for one level.

 

What is the test language?

Mawhiba Multiple Cognitive Abilities provides the Scale in Arabic, in addition to English, so the student must choose the test language for registration.

 

Can I retake the test?

A student can only take the measure once for each level.


What programs can I participate in?

There are many varied programs that students can participate in according to the standards and requirements of the programs. They are presented in Arabic and some in English, such as:

- Mawhiba enrichment programs.

- Mawhiba classes.

- Advanced Mawhiba program in science and mathematics.

- Mawhiba program to enroll in prestigious universities.​

 
In addition to the programs provided by the Ministry of Education (such as Acceleration and other programs) and the programs and services provided by partners that support the gifted.

 

What are the requirements for remote testing? 

• Computer (Desktop - Laptop); Tablets are not accepted. 

• Webcam on the student's computer. 

• Microphone and built-in headphones or connected to the student's device.

• A quiet and secluded place to take the test.

• Provides adequate and good lighting for the test environment and avoids bright light such as the sun or darkness.

• Availability of an Internet connection (Internet is not required all the time).

 

 
What is the difference between a computerized test (headquarters) and a (remote) test?

• The remote test is exactly the same as the home test in terms of content and duration. 

• There is a pilot test that measures the technical readiness of the remote registrants and is mandatory on the same device on which the actual test will be applied. 

• The remote test requires the addition of a personal photo and a photo of ID during registration for conformity.
 

What is the pilot test and when is it held? 

It is a procedure for assessing technical readiness and preparing the student for the actual test, and the student will be informed of the date of his specified residence within the first week of January 2021.

 

What is the way to enter the remote test?

The test will be applied through a specific program, and on December 24, students registered for the remote test will be provided with an explanatory guide that includes a link to download the program through the registered email ..

 

 
I tried to register one of my children, and a message appeared stating that the e-mail address is used by a student, what should I do?

 
Assigning an email to each (registered in the portal) is one of the conditions of registration and one of its necessities. Please register with another email to be able to complete the registration.
