King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and Ministry of Education announced the results of "Talent Science and Mathematics Contest 2016" on the website of
Mawhiba
Contest organizers explained that 20 male and female students won in math (10 boys and 10 girls), winners in science were 70 students (10 boys and 7 girls).
Organizers pointed that talent science and mathematics contest in its second version witnessed good attraction where more than 8,000 students were registered for the contest, wishing good luck for all participants. Winners are asked to register for the next version as this contest is an extension of joint initiatives between Mawhiba and the Ministry of Education which act hardly to identify, support and nurture the gifted and innovators.
Talent contest is part of Mawhiba and Ministry of Education endeavors to enhance cooperation in nurturing talent, creativity and innovation, and unleashing the potentials of gifted students to prepare a qualified generation of future scientists able to push the wheel of development and growth in our country.
Talent contest is a scientific competition in mathematics and science organized by King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and Ministry of Education aiming to identify talented elementary school students in math and science, encourage excellent students to continue studying math and science, and push the educational field with more effort to develop the teaching of math and science.
