King Abdulaziz & his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba” launched the registration stage for nominated students to its Enrichment Summer programs through “Mawhiba” Electronic Portal, the registration stage lasts until it is out of available seats.
Enrichment Programs are conducted for three weeks of the summer vacation with a variety of learning sources for the students in these programs including academic teachers and hosting the experts and those with distinct experiments in the field, attending scientific seminars and field visits.
Launching Enrichment Programs comes in collaboration with the most important partners of companies, universities, research centers and schools in a number of cities in the Kingdom to nurture the students of the national project to identify the gifted students.
Mawhiba Enrichment Programs content lies in scientific paths and diverse techniques in: Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Environment, Energy, Biology, Medical Sciences, Math and Information Technology in addition to the skill aspect that aims to feed the students with the scientific knowledge and also a set of leading and personal skills in vision, objectives, communicating, problem solving, decision making and dialogue and communication that are supported with a number of lectures, seminars and activities which enable the students to be more aware of their energy and capability.
Seeking to attain the goal of growing the students’ capabilities, Enrichment Programs are presented by using variety of methods including: learning through discovering, teamwork, practical application, independent study, research and inquiry, dialogue and discussion.
In this regard, King Abdulaziz & his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba” strives to build a base for gifted and creative students and provide them with the distinct care in order to establish a creative society that supports the transformation to a knowledgeable society and enable the gifted to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 through programs that enhance the Saudi Character and build the local content. These programs serve approximately 5400 male and female students in: Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, Unaizah, Buraydah, Jeddah, Dammam, Al-Ahsa and Khobar.
Local Enrichment Mawhiba Programs are considered the first step that allows male and female students to identify their skills and potentials and give them the support to improve and boost them and also prepare them to participate effectively in the events that are sponsored and presented by “Mawhiba” inside the Kingdom and outside. In addition, these programs prepare and qualify the students to be nominated to participate in the national and international Olympiads.
