Training 150 Gifted Students to Transform Research into Economic Projects

In a Partnership Between Mawhiba and Monsha’at

news16april2020A (1).pngKing Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba" and  Small and Medium Enterprise General authority "Monshaat", completed the training program of 150  students of "Mawhiba", to train them for entrepreneurial skills and to convert their research and scientific projects into commercial projects, as part of the partnership project between the "Mawhiba" and "Monsha’at".


 Mawhiba’s students participated in the 4-day training program, which included courses and workshops presented by "Monsha’at" top trainers and the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property to provide support to about 150 research and projects for several gifted students who participated in the Olympics (Creativity 2020), to train them to turn the idea into an Intellectual property, and then into a commercial project, and to teach them how to introduce the commercial project to the market.


​ "Intellectual Property Authority", a consulting company, and "Monsha’at" Authority all participated in presenting the training program. They will work on subjecting around 20 projects that can be launched in the market for further study, provide advisory support to projects owner and assist them in marketing.

 

This program is the core of a partnership that will be expanded after benefiting from this first experience and measuring its various aspects, to include all students of "Mawhiba" to enhance their skills, support them and enable them to transform their future projects and research into projects of economic value, in light of the Kingdom's interest in developing entrepreneurial skills among students from a young age, to teach them the basics of transforming creative ideas into products, achieving entrepreneurship and contributing to the achievement of human achievements.


 "Mawhiba" seeks to enhance reliance on reason, intellect, giftedness and creativity to achieve the goals of 2030 Vision, and to achieve what came in the second axis of it, by ensuring opportunities are provided for everyone through an educational system linked to the needs of the labour market. "
