The
Baltic Olympiad in Informatics is a programming competition for high school
students across the Baltic Sea. More than 60 high school students from 10
countries compete against each other as each country sends the top 6 students
to solve challenging problems of an algorithmic nature.
BOI
was established in 1995, with only 3 participating countries. Since then, it
has grown to include 10 countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland,
Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Sweden.
It
takes place during May every year and is attended by the best 4 students in the
team.
